Biography
When Gloria Seeger heard First Lady of the United States Michelle Obama’s call to action at a Fort Bragg speech, she decided to advance her charity endeavors by organizing and sponsoring a fundraiser to support our Nation’s veterans. Ms. Seeger is a successful property developer and home builder since 1984. In addition to her commercial business, Ms. Seeger serves as principal advisor to Dr. John Rock, Dean and Senior Vice President for Medical Affairs at Florida International University. Her expertise was developed while working with the OTT Institute in St. Petersburg, Russia – the country’s first In Vitro fertilization center. She was drawn to that work after serving on various advisory boards dealing with women’s health issues at Johns Hopkins University Hospital and the Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. Ms. Seeger’s path to philanthropic and entrepreneurial work came after a rewarding fifteen (15) year career as a commercial actress in San Francisco and New York City. Her hope is that the past successes of her endeavors will continue on with the Operation 12th Man fundraiser.
