ABOUT OPERATION 12TH MAN
Operation 12th Man was created in 2009 by Gloria Seeger – a Northern Virginia land developer, home builder and philanthropist – in an effort to support our troops and their mission to make America safe. Through a series of fundraisers, Operation 12th Man will work to ensure that the sacrifices our courageous military men and women have made will be “paid back” by providing them with the support they need and deserve. The organization’s efforts will provide opportunities to assist those who have sacrificed their lives to protect America.
The term 12th Man is commonly used to describe fans in a stadium during football games. Since football leagues allow a maximum of eleven players per team on the playing field at a time, the term denotes fans doing anything they can to help and support their team. Their presence during games can have a profound impact on how teams perform.

In return for your generous donation we are offering you the opportunity to win one of 200 prizes - including a grand prize of $150,000, two cars (or their cash equivalent), LCD televisions, MP3 players and other prizes. Before the start of every fundraiser, Operation 12th Man will select several organizations who will be recipients of a significant contribution to support their efforts.
And better yet, at the end of each fundraiser we will work with our partners to identify and give away a home for free to a deserving military family!
